Lavender Ironside

Lavender Ironside is a fiction writer and a history nut, who lives and writes in the Seattle area. She has a passion for books set among ancient and indigenous cultures, as well as novels set in Colonial America, the Middle East, and in prehistory. Unusual approaches to familiar historical stories fascinate her, as do stories about obscure but real people from the past. She appreciates a literary, experimental, or elaborate style and deep immersion into a historical setting. Lavender has published several short stories under various pen names, and she is the author of The Sekhmet Bed, a novel set in 18th-Dynasty Egypt.
